BlackBerry Limited, formerly known as Research In Motion Limited, is a Canadian-based multinational wireless telecommunications software and mobile hardware company best known to the general public as the former developer of the BlackBerry brand of smartphones, and tablets, but is transitioning to becoming a worldwide provider of software for industrial applications and mobile device management. In 1992 Lazaridis hired Jim Balsillie, and Lazaridis and Balsillie served as co-CEOs until January 22, 2012. In November 2013, John S. Chen took over as CEO. The final Net Promoter Score of a company strongly depends on a context in which the satisfaction is measured.
Consider an example: If BlackBerry Limited sends out NPS surveys immediately after purchase, they are tracking their customers' initial excitement and the checkout experience.
On the other hand, if they survey their customers a few weeks after the purchase they are also tracking how satisfied their customers are with their products and services over time.
Therefore, comparing the NPS score of BlackBerry Limited with your own without any further context is not that useful.
What is extremely useful though, is using the NPS methodology to track the satisfaction of your customers over time. That's where Customer.guru comes in.
